Description
There is not a lot of interesting of interesting architecture in Canada, I find most of the built structures in this country to be more utilitarian than anything else. Β I mean look at Toronto, how many glass condominiums do we need?!! There are even fewer architecturally interesting bridges although one would be an exception to the rule. What do you think about Canada's architecture? Let me know in the comments below.

Try looking in smaller towns perhaps.

I agree, the smaller towns tend to have far more interesting buildings and because of this I find they are far more warm and welcoming.

Yeah, Canadian architecture can be boring, but we do have nice bridges.

Wow, I love that shot. And yes, you're right. Not a lot of interesting architecture in Canada. Not much in Ottawa, more in T.O. and Montreal, but my home-town seems stuck in the '60s.

NIce picture! I live in a former communist country. The communists had buildings built en mass. The same type of building with the same dimensions built again and again...partially for economic reasons. Foreigners used to get lost when they came to these countries because the streets were the same. Interesting architecture is expensive...remember that!

Some of the communist architecture is really interesting due to the elegant simplicity in its design.
Yes you are right, interesting architecture is expensive but that is all the more reason to save the unique buildings that already exist instead of just demolishing them!
