Description This image is not available for use by anyone else.
Created entirely in Photoshop, using a Wacom Intuos 4 large tablet. Mostly painted (default photoshop round brush) with a few building textures thrown in (my own photographs, taken in Bristol, UK and then shrunk down and twisted this way and that) plus a sky from one of my own photographs, which has been manipulated loads. Took about 1 month to do, mainly weekday evenings here and there.
Siberia is the name of the organization that controls the city. This was done for a short film. Animation would be added later i.e. vehicles, lights etc.

HOW THE HELL!

How the hell did you get the description of the city in which my story takes place in! I mean this looks amazingly and eerily similar to my story. The only real difference is that there would be a five mile wide space elevator in the center of the city with massive towers around it and leading out to old town which surrounds the city proper itself. (old town = the slums)

I've always been a sucker for dark and dystopian portrayals of the future for some reason, especially if its shown through a city, with all the lights and silhouettes . It's a fantastic drawing. Hope the animation goes well and I would love to see it. Good luck!

the towns just south of berlin , in the old east germany didnt look this er.... formidable

but even then , my uncle who commanded part of the berlin wall, had a great deal of trouble , getting permission to meet my mother ,his younger sister, at the border, after not seeing her for 24 yrs.

That's very sad frog. It reminds me of the film 1984. Governments/dictators have damaged so many people's lives over history. I think we would be better off without them and go back to survival of the fittest, like the rest of the animal kingdom.
