Description
A speed painting that came about by accident as I was practicing, in between work. It's a picture of what appears to be a power plant, spilling out toxic waste. This image is a personal project, so doesn't belong to anyone else, i.e. a client. To buy the full license for this image would cost £60 ($100).
Painted entirely in Photoshop CS5.

Thanks for letting us include this in ! It captures a harsh industrial inhuman feeling of what I imagine life to be like inside the atmosphere-generating ziggurats on Torei!

That's really cool, James! I love the colors. It's kind of hazy, too, like the photo is taken inside the smog, and with all the lights on reflecting to dull the quality of the photo. I like that.

Thanks - yes, i like the light bleeding into the image, more like a photo or movie.

It's brilliant. Makes me wish I could see more of this scene. XD
Just curious though, what is that dark hooky thing above and to the right of the people? I can't see anything holding it up.

Actually you were right - it was floating. I have set it back a bit to make it appear as a structure on the ground. Cheers for pointing it out.

Thanks loads!
I actually haven't got a clue to be honest - it's just an abstract shape. We do loads of things like that with concept art for clients, as it let's the client team come up with an idea which can be refined/redrawn. I actually don't know what any of the things are, which ads mystery...
