Another initial sketch for my book, Worldview.The plan was to get a photo-real look. The next task is to finalise it by detailing and adding additional elements to add a bit of drama and life.
All done from scratch in Photoshop.

Pet Peeve with me. Too many action movies and art with too much 'dark' in them. I think why the movies do that especially for fight scenes is because digitized fights during the day would take more resources, time, and money.

Yes, I live with a writer. To save budgets, shadows and dark scenes are implemented often. Or, areas are masked out with filters in production to save on building expensive sets or hiring matte painters.
