JournalDump08More drawings from 2006. We started playing Fatal Frame3. It affected me (I love it) and other things.
1, Cid - I had to adjust him a bit in post but he's pretty cute
2, Butch Hartman style White Mage Jenevive . She's an angel not a fairy...
3, Summoner Man- ~FelicisAstrum recognizes him. Back in college my roommates all planned out our own Final Fantasy where we were all characters. That's where Jenevive the White Mage originated from. This Summoner boy is Feli's plotline boyfriend
4, Feeling Gruesome. I was.
5, Jenevive and Riff (and Talon) I started pokemon over again using Jenevive as my name and Bulbasaur as my starter... and Talon as my bird I guess.
6, Ico - I LP'd this game for my roomies. It was fun.
7, Data and Sonny - kind of a companion to the pic with Data and Geordi in preschool.
8 Reika -
Reika is the meandering boss ghost in Fatal Frame 3. She was the most tragic and frightening character I'd ever encountered in a game before. Her presence is marked by mist and snow and her touch is instantly deadly. The Mansion of sleep is her own fortress of guilt. Trespass not with a heavy conscience or surely your grievance will join her pained wandering.

These all look great.
I love your style, now and then.
I especially like the Cid, maybe cause I know the character whereas the others I don't, but I like the purspective of it, can imagine him looking up to the Highwind.

Yay! I remember all those self!Final Fantasy characters we made. And I do enjoy the Fatal Frame picture, I think out of the four games, I understood 3's plot the most, so it's my favorite (with no2 being a close second). Not the best reason to like a game, but with Fatal Frame, sometimes it's hard to know what the hell the plot is doing, lol. I always tell that Kensuke story to people, too. Scared the bejeezus out of me.

I watched my boyfriend play the last level in Fatal Frame. *shivers* she gave me nightmares.

We had a big party for the boss fight... maybe twelve people watching in the dark. Our pal Kensuke was pretending he was scared to flirt with a couple of the girls and kicked the console when Reika attacked and reset the game.
Scared us out of our minds.

Sounds alot like my house when we finished the game. I hid behind my zombie plushie and didn't move the entire time. The fact that the lights were off and that it was stormy outside didn't really help.
I think almost everybody who's played that game was terrified of the last levels.
