Yooou are kind of my hero now I think you hit all my favorite unintentionally funny moments in this book- Ivan shoving dude out of cairrage and Dmitri's "Money or you life" thing were two of my favorite parts... And I LOVE how you draw them!! This is amazing.

This is hilarious and I lovelovelove these character designs...so expressive and unique. Haha, it's made me want to see an animated cartoon about this book.

I have no clue what's going on... but I bet (looking at your images so far) that I would laugh my butt off at Alyosha (sp?). I'm getting a strong "good natured and naive and adorable" vibe from him. The book sounds fantastic though, from what you've said and from what I've seen in your drawings I may try to squeeze in time to sit down with it once I'm done with my Pre-Christmas rush of knitting and crafting whenever I'm not working.

I love love love the cartoony-ness of your drawings, especially when they're in that startk black and white like some of the ladies at the bottom. You capture the characters in such an interesting way- it makes them seem very lively and individual.
