Description
This is my half, ~churchTEA what do you think? ^^He challenged me to design some faces. Yes I took inspiration from other Red vs Blue faces around, but I'm proud of my work. I had a really long description here but DA sucks so yeah..
People keep saying I forgot people! It was a challenge and we agreed to ten characters. Maybe we'll get to him later.
Oh and if anyone else wants to participate in this challenge, there is no prize.... the winner gets bragging rights ^^ And I'd like to see everyone else's take on the cast here.
And I realize I misspelled Donut's name -_-

they've got the same hair for about the same reason... someone told them to cut it that way so they did and never stopped. The rest of the similarities are just because I drew them and everyone I draw looks vaguely the same ^^

They never said Tucker was black. Church just asked him if he was and never got an answer.

I love all your renditions of these characters! The only ones I have problems with are Caboose and Simmons.

I really like your interpretations of the characters. Probably one of my favourites.
Only exception is possibly Simmons but he still looks good.
I've only recently gotten into Red Vs Blue and some of the other interpretations I've seen of the characters (including the 'official' images) are very, VERY not to my liking.
I don't see Caboose as blond and geeky glasses on Doc is a COMPLETE turn-off for me. In fact it's one of my pet peeves. Putting big round glasses on supposed geek/nerd type characters. Geeks don't have to look like Jar-Jar rejects.

Agreed. I don't think Doc would have glasses... I mean in the future shouldn't everyone have corrective eye-surgery anyway? Glasses are a pain when you're wearing a helmet like that, what if they get foggy!? Plus Doc's look came really naturally to me, that was exactly what I thought he would look like and I got him on first try! I have yet to draw him evil though ^^

I'm not sure if I agree with all your 'visions' of the crew, I do think this is a very good work. I particularly liked how very young you made Caboose and Sister. A very good job overall.

Mine are heavily influenced by Luke McKay's "official" artwork. Personally, I see Doc as being a lot geekier (is that a word?) and Sister having freckles. Grif would probably be a more lot chubbier and look more tired.
And, of course, given the revelations in 'Reconstruction', Church and Tex would be Cortana-style holograms.

Ah its only "official" because the RTs said they liked it ^^ I admit my Grif isn't fat enough, but I drew this before the animated teaser when I realized what a fatass he actually is. I still can't see Caboose as a blond though.

I like the way you captured Sister's naivete, Doughnut's boyishness, and Church's indifference. Though I'm half-and-half on your interpretation of Simmons.
Overall, a fantastic piece that would make everyone at RoosterTeeth happy (except for Luke McCay...he'd whine about you taking his ideas or something XD).

Yeah, I explained that in my really long description that DA deleted on me...
While Sarge inpsired the look of the Captain, Petey inspired the look of Caboose, mostly because I figure they would approach their hair from the same place. Both of them are such cheerful soldiers, they would keep their hair up to code just because someone asked them to, as opposed to the rest of this cast (sarge not included) who have let theirs grow out over time. I mean, Grif doesn't even care to wash it apparently (his hair is nappy looking). So that's the reason for that.
Petey was never supposed to be Caboose... and visaversa... it just worked out that way when I was thinking of what these guys looked like.

most drawing of griff have him a patchwork of scars since he was fixed up with the left overs of simmons

But my Simmons's face is pretty much intact... there would be no reason to scar up Grif's face if he didn't get any of Simmons's If we could see the rest of Grif's body, I'd probably put lots of incision scars on it.
