I love Hellsing its one of my Favorite animes ever. Its a little bloody, but its not nearly as gory as the manga... which is also fantastic. One thing to keep in mind though. If you watch the anime, its a cartoon summary of the books. So if you haven't read the manga (like I hadn't at the beginning) it will seem like things are... not resolved... but if you watch it for Alucard's insane zombie dispatching prowess and hot face then its all good ^^ and if you like strong women, Integral is a strand above.

hehehe cool, actually I'm in the middle of reading a "manwha" series called "Rebirth". It's about this vampire called Deshwitat (Desh-wit-at) who has to harness both the magic of light and dark forces in order to defeat this dude Kalutika, who murdered his true love Lilith, cursed his human friend Rett to and endless life and sent him to limbo for 357 years. It's a great story, because Deshwitat is mighty hot, but he's not a goody goody, and he is accompanied by my favourite female character of all time. (I don't usually like female characters cause they're usually damels in distress or total madams!) Millenear is an exorcist and a great example for Christian women. She's shapely and gorgeous but modest, she has great faith and doesn't back down when the going gets tough. I wont ruin any more of it, cause it's definately worth a look, expect some fanart coming this way. the only thing is...it portrays the Christian (Caltholic) church as using "white" magic, and doesn't draw a clear enough line between good and bad...ie light doesn't equal good and darkness doesn't equal evil....therefore some of the stuff should be taken with a pinch of salt, after all it's from Korea, where Christianity isn't as well exposed and most people just see the Vatican and the Pope and that's it. Having said that it has one of the fastest growing churches in the world


Anyway sorry for the ramble...check out Rebirth though!

Okay, I will, it sounds good ^^ Hellsing's kinda got that religion mixup thing going for it too. Integral is the head of the Protestant knights of England (Church of England = Alucard kicks any and all butt) and they fight against the Catholics (The Vatican = smarmy creepy insano guys) But if you can suspend that and enjoy the show its a good show to enjoy... plus watch it in japanese because Alucard has Folken's voice ^^

Sounds like Glasgow Rangers and Celtic soccer match! Rangers is a "protestant" team and Celtic is the "Catholic" team. Anyway yeah sounds good though.

I'm not crazy about the Japanese voice actors, just because 1. I think that the Ocean group for one, gets pretty good voices to fit the characters ie Dryden :drools: Michael Dobson does a great job at that! 2. The Japanese voices annoy me, especially female voices they're so whiney!

Anyway yeah hehehe
