Dude, OH MY GOD. Had to get that out. I was just following peoples favorites, hunting down cool artists I hadn't seen on here and I'm scrolling down and go WTF?!?!?! Then I scroll back up and I'm looking at James Ryman on Deviantart. Dude, this is one of my favorite recent Heavy Metal cover! You don't by any chance offer this as a poster sized print at all, do you? There's some dead space on my wall and I was totally looking for one to fill it.

I really don't think this image is cheesy at all. Quite frankly, and take no offense at it because I mean it as a compliment, this image reminds me of some of the fantasy composites by Vallejo. It's an exceptional work.

Hi Hefsiular - I attended the San Diego Comic Con and met Kevin Eastman (owner of Heavy Metal Magazine) there. The HM website does have a 'Submissions' policy , you could try that. There's also a HM forum where you could post your work.
