Bio: Obsessed with riddles, puzzles and word games, Maurice Cronest is quite adept at parlor games and challenges, using both of these in various way to gain the upper hand against those who play him. Originally operating a business in New York which consists of extorting people if they don't win his games, result in losing their hard earned cash. Maurice used his amazing cheating skills to win at almost any game and was also in the business of blackmail and extortion to make tons of money the fastest way possible. When undercover cops discovered his illegal swindling operation, he managed to escape leaving no clues on where he went as he didn’t want to be followed. He later re-emerged as a costumed criminal by donning a green Victorian suit complete with top hat and opera cape calling himself Mr. Puzzle who delighted in leaving challenging clues for the police whether they lead to his actual scheme or a decoy to throw them off. When The Amethyst Predator came to rid the city’s criminal underbelly, Mr Puzzle kidnapped the Mayor of New York and held him hostage to which The Predator had no choice but play his games in order to save his life. If successful, Mr. Puzzle will take delight to play against The Amethyst Predator in a game of chance resulting in life or death, to which he hopes would come up death.
