Fascinating isn't it?
The fact that all it takes is a few patches of paint in order to make the paper look like skin, then the paint flows freely and somehow you end up with a finished work. Watercolour is a beautiful medium. Of course, a work of this quality takes admirable amounts of time and dedication. You have my respect.

Beautiful painting. I'm really curious to see where you take it if this is still a wip. There are some lovely, interesting details in this piece like the red at the bottom of the chin and the soft hair patterns across the face.
Even though there are dark and bold reds present in the hair, I'm still drawn back to the eye area; her look is so piercing
