Description
I'm in a bit of a dilema with this one...I really like it but it feels incomplete. Not sure if it's the lack of connection to the background or the ear is too prominent. Feedback appreciated. I don't want to overdo it and make a mess of it.Beautiful model stock from [link] leaf brushes from . All other stock and brushes from personal resources.

Nope. Dont change a thing. I think its a wonderful picture of a faery/elf whatever. It looks like they come into a studio for you just to photograph them. So its kind of intimate and almost as if you are getting a personal photo. Also, love the beads in the hair (that kinda rocks)

Thanks...it's a great stock shot to work with. I'm glad you noticed the beads in the hair - it looked darker after I loaded it to DA compared to Photoshop and I wasn't sure if you'd be able to see the details properly.

Absolutely stunning! The leaves on the straps are such a delightful little touch... and the hair looks stunning! I don't believe the ear is too prominent - the colors and shadows blend in with the rest of the image.
Beautiful and classic. ^-^ Fantasy is my favorite.

Phew I'm glad you like it...I'm always a little anxious waiting for the stock provider to comment, must be nothing worse than seeing your image made into a dog's breakfast! Glad you found the link. I'll update the page so people can see the before and after shots. Might inspire them to have a wander through your gallery...

I love the idea of putting the leaves on her straps and I don't think the ear is too prominent at all. If I had to choose one thing to change it'd be the background. Maybe a prettier cloud photo?

Thanks. I'll have another go at it eventually and try the clouds as a background instead. I did try a couple but because of the contrast in light between the left and the right I didn't really have anything that fitted well with the reflected light on her skin. I need to go and source some good stormy stock images!
