After reading chapter 37 of Unspoiled I was utterly charmed by the idea of Kagome teaching little Sesshoumaru how to swim. I didn't know if Forthright was ever going to actually write said scene, but I couldn't help doodling it anyway (Forthy has indicated that swimming lessons are indeed forthcoming
)I've done wraps similar to what Kagome is wearing with simple lengths of cloth, and Sess is supposed to be wearing fundoshi (but its sort of hard to see). Also - ankle stripes a la chapter 66 of Imperceptible

This is absolutely beautiful! The style reminds me of really old Chinese drawings and I love how the style of eyes and touches to Kagome make her a beauty while Sess is his eternal handsome self. I love the colors, the effects in the clouds, grass & swimsuit.

ahaha, I'm terrible is what happened. I was all set to be a commission demon and then I got steamrolled by all of this freelance illustration work. So that's what I've been doing (along with job-hunting, man is that humbling, I haven't been rejected this much since....ever.)
