Most of them are the real bad symmetry flaws, also his right barb is missing.

Actually it is his left whisker that isn't showing and it's not supposed to be seen from this angle. Also his left eye is in different angle than right one because of pose. Perhaps head could have been tilted slightly to left from viewer to exaggerate the pose, but overall I'm pretty happy with the likeness myself.
True symmetry is real rare in biological creatures. Yours or mine faces aren't symmetrical either.
I hope you get to use your keen eye on your own work in future.

Let's start off with the, right, left whisker then. The head should be turned to the left way more than it is here in order to block it out completely. Agree or not, but that's that - if you don't believe me, ask someone else. But hey, I agree on that you really did a great job with the colour and light. As with the symmetry... well, you can go flip the canvas around and see for yourself, there definitely are mistakes - if the forehead is set relatively straight, why do nostrils bounce up and down like if the face was tilt... wait, it IS. But then why forehead goes straight up? The left eye lacks the supporting skin underneath itself, which the right eye does not. Or it is put too far to the right edge of the painting. You should've really tilt the head to the left, though - it would correct the overall look by more than a half. Also, what's with the left (right to the viewer) upper nostril... thing being bigger than the right one? Like, considerably bigger.
Uh, and just a little more detail on the suit would be good.

I don't disagree with everything you say.
Most of the things you are pointing out are as in reference material this painting is based on. Some features are modified (as intended) for character to have more impression (nostrils for example). If I wanted exact likeness I would take an photograph or screen capture.
You most certainly are entitled to your opinions on this matter but ...
I think amount of people find it offensive, when you start pointing out mistakes (or what you think are mistakes) when critique isn't requested. At least I do. And for another matter, in this case we are talking about 6 year old work here.
But as said, I hope you get to use your insight in your own works in future.

Almost embarrassed to post this. Back in 2009 I was still starting with acrylics and feel that have learned so much since. Perhaps it's soon time to paint another painting of Admiral Ackbar
