The underside of hooves should not look like they are hollow and have holes in them. That is a biggie.

The rest is too hard to explain over the net. I will just say that shadows on cartoony drawings should be simple, to keep in tone with the simple design. Soft realistic shadows should be also avoided when shading cartoons.

I know I have problems and stuff to fix, true.. but that's. . Not how art works^^` 
There's no objective wrong shading style to line style, and there are tons upon tons of artists proving this, such as imalou, centchi, celebi-yoshi, etc

Just because i'm not a very good artist doesn't mean the entire genre of realistic looking cartoons doesn't work.
Are you saying that styles and pictures like this:









Are bad just because they're soft shading on cartoons?

It's just that my method it "don't attempt realism until you are a pro".

I used to do that, but at this point, with support from the watchers i love, and the fact that this helps my income to pay rent, i've found it's way more rewarding to be public, and build up skill with the help of of the art community and my friends~, whom i never would have met had i not started putting my drawings on this account.
