I'd like to think that Fantasma is actually facing off with a clone of herself that she refuses to look in the eye for fear of having an existential crisis.

Little do her captors suspect that this is just an illusion, and the real Fantasma is waiting for them to open the door to the interrogation room so she can ambush them with a potted plant or something.
