If you're refering to the serpent devouring it's own tail, then yes, that would be Ouroboros.

The problem with alchemy books is that most of them are... not alchemy books.
It's always very hard to know what's right and what's false with that damn stuff -_-'
Well then, I'll check keep on !

Yes, it is a problem. Sadly I would love to get my hands on a copy of some REAL alchemy notes...wishful thinking or halucination...I dont know which. But I will keep searching
good luck with your searches!

Alchemist are sooo fregging elistist and egocentric... they keep their books for them. Too bad.
But the manuscript of Voynich is about to be published, that would be cool to take a look at it

Eeer, well it's a book found in Italia (XVIIth century I think) by a man called Voynich, and this book is... strange. There are a lot of pictures in it : they look like plants, roots and flowers, but non-identified. And also : pictures of alambics, plans of the cosmos, etc. The language and the alphabet are unknown. The most puzzling thing about this book is that no one managed to translate and understand it : some guys said it was about turning stuff into gold, some said it was a mathematic theory, or a pharmaceutical book...
You can think it's a hoax, too.
But Georg Baresch, a alchemist of Prague, owned it during quite a long time ; and so did Someone II (I don't remember his name), the european king who was fond of alchemy and occultism.
The book has only been read by a few men ; and now it'll be published, so every one will be able to try to solve this enigma. Quite exciting...
NB : I'm french, so please, excuse my mistakes

Gosh, I just realized i've been apologizing AGAIN about this "mistakes" stuff in my last comment. My complex has eaten my memories yet, it's just a matter of time and my brain will be totally anihilated.
(A weird language, aw yes too true, too true. Either is Romanian, I think )
