This must mean that there's more that one Sonic character to help the Blue Blur out this time, eh?
If so, I hope this means that they get older characters that we haven't seen in a dog's age like Nack or Mighty.

Who knows what they will bring. They did give out some information saying that, there will be 3 gameplay styles. One for modern, classic, and the other one, they are gonna keep it a secret.
They also said that Knuckles, Amy and the Chaotix will be in the game. And in the story, all we know is that eggman finally won and is now put in world domination. And that the game runs on a new engine known as the hedgehog engine 2.
