Her friends, her city while under the machinations of a mad man. But within the context of this universe, Batman is there to help her. So having experienced troubled youths being manipulated into serving self serving villains, Batman held no ill will to Terra. Instead, he sought out to do one thing: rehabilitate. He knows all too well what it's like to be a lost child. And offers to be a better father figure to the young titan. Not just in turn she fights crime and is recruited into her mission, but help her get a second chance, and the comfort she has that she can now choose to live her life as she sees fit.
