With Terra fully remembering who she is, and the powers she has regained with some sense of control, she questions whether or not she should return to being a hero, when she knows she wasn't cut out for it in the first place. In True Alan Grant fashion, Batman gives honest advice that helps her in becoming into the hero she needs to be. In Batman's case, he knows that if Terra embarks on this path, it's to find reconciliation for the lives she's harmed, but there's another aspect Terra needs to know. When she uses her powers, and wears her suit, she isn't just a crime fighter, but rather, she's becoming a symbol. She has to live up what she changes into. In Batman's world view, once that choice is made, there's no going back. After being at odds with herself for so long, Terra knows what she'll be saying goodbye to. A chance of a normal life, to becoming a symbol.
