As far as the world is concerned, they are being invaded by the Horde, The Justice Heroes were taken out and held prisoner. Including the Justice League, The JSA, and Teen Titans. As Cat-Ra revels in the Justice Heroes, defeat, there is one being that the Horde didn't count on...Spawn. Having "dealt" with a majority of The Horde, Spawn was then met by Cat-Ra and her squadron, nearly trying to kill him, but as we the fan know...well, let's just say Cat-Ra was horrified and retreated. She just saw a demon worse than the Batmen she faced and lost to, and the next time they meet, she knows that Spawn will pass judgement, and anything that dies on Earth is sent straight to Hell.ΒRelated content

Interesting, although with Catra, she has a...complicated relationship with the fear of death.
As through the series, since season 3, she's multiple times suicidal - first at start of season 3, when she pretty much tried to provoke Hordak to kill her, and latter give up on life, then up on life and shown no fear of threat death (as she stated one cannot threaten someone, who lost everything), and in the finale, after Adora once gain in her mind, rejected her, attempted murder-suicide on herself, Adora, and the rest of the universe (with possible oblivion, not just death, due to the Sword of Protection stated to completely destroy time and space), and in Season 4 finale, outright stated Glimmer should kill her.
She isn't exactly completely unafraid of death, as she defends herself, and feared when Hordak wanted to kill her for sending Entrapta to Beast Island (thinking she diedΒ horrible death there), and making him think she betrayed him.
With Hell, Catra's life kinda already kinda is it, adding on the fact's from the series, she is also on Apokolips serving Darkseid, which basically is an existence/plane of existence near to Hell, and comparable to it, as shown in the DC Multiverse map .

I'd say before. However taking in account that Spawn could drive someone insane with the sins they made. Look at Chapel

Well ok, but a note about mental health -Β Catra already is kinda mentally ill, or disturbed at least in the new series. Again, there is a reason why she she said "some people have a bad day, I've had a bad life", with it even being noted on villains wiki as Catra having "mentally ill" among among categories , and I think it would a bit undervalue her story if just her meeting with Spawn would make her insane, rather than her abusive life.
I could understand if Catra's confrontation with Spawn it would much further degrade Catra's already bad sanity though.

Originally, Chapel was the one who torched Spawn in the first place. It was later rebooted to be by some chick from the Spawn movie. But that was because of Liefeld.Β
