I love random shots... where people aren't looking directly into the camera. I think there's a lot more feeling in those than there is in the portraits where you are made to sit there and stare into space.

I find it funny how people blast $spyed for posting pics of his friends/fellow admins/and family and you get none, even though the picture clearly is here for the reason that people claim Spyed is putting his pics up for.

Well, it didn't take him ages...It is clearly submitted under "Spontaneous Portraits" which are just as legitimate as those that are planned. Also, just because people flame spyed's images (which I think is AWFUL, no matter what his reasons for submitting may or may not be) does not mean that they should. And in the same way, YOU should not be flaming this image. Anyone, no matter whose side you're on, should be flaming, *especially* on a person's artwork. It is counterproductive to your own viewpoint because it makes you look less credible, but also it is tainting the community with immaturity. So please, make your comments thoughtful.
Hate the hatred, not the haters. If we begin to flame people who flame for flaming, well what is that going to solve? It just becomes hypocritical. Take the time to be level-headed, please. I am sorry if any of this sounded derogatory or condescending, but ...I think a lot of us are a little on our last nerves with all of this flaming business.

technicaly speaking from a photographers view, it IS a nicer shot than what spyed has been submitting. You realy do borderline on flaming.

IF in fact this is a post much like spyeds its his family, he's not tryign to prove that he himself is the almighty dictator of DA, he isnt showing pictures of cases of BUBBLES, he isnt taking poor disposable camera photos of a torn up hat. Its his family at a restraunt.
