"Darling Dragonling IV" is the title - the fourth installment in my Darling Dragonlings series of small paintings featuring my ever-popular dragon & fairy characters. Many of you know my Dragonlings through various lines of collectibles, statues, jewelry, ornaments, etc. with the Bradford Exchange & Hamilton Collection. Darling Dragonling IV debuted at Dragon*Con 2011 (appropriately enough!). The original painting is SOLD, but I have prints & merchandise featuring her! Darling indeed - I love the colourful dragonling & striking wings in this one. Wish I had a pet dragonling, hmph. But I am like obsessed,I've seen your work before years ago,but haven't seen this much of it,and how many beautiful ideas you've had since the last awesome ones I had seen.
But now my mind is exploding with joy and wonder,your'e such an inspiration entirely.
I've really been in to caricature stuff for the past two years but hadn't got a real chance to make a huge piece of art I want to do,and your work makes me want to jump in to gear again making great things that make me happy.I'm just a regular person nothing special,I just come from a grandfather and brother who also created art.My brother is into abstract.I want something of yours or something of me added to it in some way tattooed on me someday when I have money,lol.But I just couldn't help myself,I had to inform you about these things coming out of my head.<3
Oh the idea I had was a girl like your's (exaggerated features:head,mezmorizing eyes,tiny body,big but small proportioned lips,and rainbow mermaid pin-up esque.Probably a lot of extra details but that's the jist of it if wondered.lol.I want to be a mermaid when I grow up and I'm obsessed with the Invader Zim Gir,that's my nickname Gir.Thanx for reading if ya do,response appreciated but not demanded.<3

Thank you Steven! Oh yes, painting has been my fulltime job for about ten years. My name/brand now has many employees and it's definitely provided me with a lot of work

It must be really hard getting rid of original paintings. I sold a sculpture I did once (still kicking myself for not taking a photo of it) and I miss it to this day. I think our works of art are like our "babies". heheh It's so hard to let go of them. I guess that's why I work mainly in digital now. Nothing to hold on to and get overly attached to. lol
