Description
Skinned Main (+WS), EQ (+WS), PL (+WS). Nothing else, because that's all I use...It's taken me months to complete this skin... a few minutes a week... a few pixels a day... and here it is.

Oh wow. Just wow.
Stunning skin. Seems as though this one will stay on my winamp for a bit.
I'm astounded by the detail. I'm loving the symmetry aspect with the slight adjustments, something that just goes straight to my heart, just what I like to see in my skins. It's incredibly complex, but done incredibly smoothly. Colour palette choices are great, and the little lighter highlights look quite clean.
Also dropped by the thread at winamp.com that you linked a couple of comments before this one, and peeked at the w3 skin. It's such a shame you're unable to finish that one, it really is a work of art.

Very nice work. I adore the massive attention-to-detail and the symmetry, (I'm a big fan of symmetry in art, I think it makes things more beautiful, although some assymetry is awesome too, gives the object a human, flawed edge) Anyway, back to the skin, I think the red was a good choice, the browny-earthy colour for the metal areas is also a good choice, it goes well with th red. I would like to see a silver-framed one, but I guess that would be too much work, right? ...

Humans naturally respond well to symmetry, and I always keep that in mind while designing. As a bonus, a symmetrical skin requires less effort because it's easy to mirror the design and apply corrections to the lighting. The colour choice makes more sense when you see the winamp3 original version, if I remember correctly it was inspired by images of tanks in desert camouflage. And yeah, I won't be updating or changing this skin because the psd source files are locked away in a dead hard drive.

dude. it doesn't matter how long you take between skins when they're all so incredible. any kids whining about how you don't submit more skins probably know shit about skinning.
now there's really not much left to say about this skin, besides the fact that i'm completely floored. i think using english words to build up a paragraph about this skin would not do it justice.
