Thats cool, I'd love to have something like that, broken or not! I remember at least when I was younger old computers would linger in the schools I went to. At elementary school each computer room had a different type of computer in it. And one pretty much had any pre-1995 computer you could think of, including old macs. Me and this other kid used to play an abc game on this very old macintosh in a teacher's room until it finally died shortly before I graduated. I think it was a little younger than this one.

Awesome find!
My friend found his old Commodore 64 in the attic And he gave it to me! Even more interesingly, it has a lot of dust and even some dead insects (!) inside the casing... I cleaned it, but the cassette player was broken. My friend's brother repaired it and it all works now (I didn't even have to adjust the cassette player head, what is the real problem of C-64).

Apart from C-64, I also have Atari 2600 and Commodore Amiga 500+ (I have its photo in my gallery). Amiga is the best computer ever for me, I love it!

If you really like old computers, you should look for them - maybe eBay or something? Or ask some friends, just like me... My friend knew I'm a maniac of this stuff and he told me about his C-64...
But now you have old Apple, it's really rare and valuable!

Maybe you'll be lucky and find someone who'll give you some old computer for free?

Neat effect, it looks like it's been blown up or burned. Sorry to hear the thing didn't work but I'd at least hang onto it and find a local Mac fanatic who can take a look at it.
Looks like an Apple III monitor with Apple II disk drives: [link]
Can you hook up speakers to the monitor? I thought the sound came through the keyboard, but I might be wrong.

Cool... you might try cleaning out the inside of the tower with some canned air and seeing if it still has a hard drive (which are available online).

Cool... it might be worth it to get it back up & running if it's not in too bad of shape. If not, you could always put a want ad out on Craigslist for a working 1980s Apple or Commodore computer, get a 70s or 80s TV set from Goodwill if you get a Commodore, and search eBay for software, while keeping this one as a decoration or to use the monitor if you get an Apple with a bad monitor or none at all.

They are. If you get one, you will have to scare up a late-60s to mid-80s analog tube TV (preferably with dial controls and a fake wood case) for the right look and right effect. If I lived close to you, I'd give you this old 16" Montgomery Ward TV I have sitting in the bedroom closet, that would work great for a Commodore monitor.
