This is probably my third favorite red artwork ever. It was better than anything that came before it (besides Goblin Grenade and Smoke) and it really shows off your talent for drawing big things beside little things.Β
I think my favorite thing about this piece is how it draws your eyes in circles all around the image, trying to follow the birds and the soldiers, all the while darting back to the Avatar's blades and face. It really adds a sense of depth and immersion that you just don't see on other cards.Β

This is so epic, love the bladed arms and the crown of spectral swords is a really unique feature, really like that effect. Very nice.
And the circling condors/crows is also a nice touch, really incorporating and strengthening the "of slaughter" detail. I really can see you spent a lot of time on it, cuz it's amazing. Kudos again!

I love this piece. That crown of swords is just awesome. This picture just reinforces to me the reasons I would make a terrible fantasy soldier. I'd see something like this on the battlefield; "Really?! Seriously?! That's it, I'm going home for some tacos."

Really cool concept, and I know it's a bit late now, but the crown seems a little off. I love the idea of it but the angles of the swords as they circle his head aren't consistent, I wish there was a similar angle to better define the shape of his crown. Looks like they're just spilling off the edge.
