I really like the depth of this piece. Awsome character too.. but i can help but want a bit more.. may I sujjest demonstrating some more movement.. like wisks of the blade in action by a stretched blur of the blade.... perhaps against an oponent... and something to demonstrate to power of the character.. with colors that fit the figures and attitude of the scene. Thank you for sharing your artwork with us! :-D (I hope some day I can become good at this type of stuff to give somthin back to all at D.A.!)

Dang! I can't resist faving this one, the energy and fire in his pose is infectious, the defiance and malice in the character is really conveyed here, and the designs and beautiful detail in costume is incredible too.

Great handle of the lighting and shadowing on the armor as well as the embellishments on it. Is he standing above a frozen lake? Thats what it looks like to me. Seems you spent a lot of time on the armor and on the bloodied naginata blade but left the robe and background very simplistic. I would assume this is wallpaper or character concept piece? Very nice. I wish I could work with color this well.

The armor is great, the lance awesome. The details in the set of armor and the way you have put it on the paper is really masterful. The nicely done enviorment gives the name of the drawing clearly. Superb job!!
