I can see why this was a lot of fun, seems right up your alley. So it begs the question, just because I'm so curious about MTG artist's process, can you recall some MTG art in the past that was super difficult for you? Has there ever been any pieces you did that just made you want to pull your hair out?

Reduce to Ash. That one was super difficult. And Scroll Rack, I'm not an engineer, or very experienced at drawing that kind of thing, so it was a lot of extra time too.

thanks! sometimes atmosphere is the best tool in the arsenal to really take a piece from ordinary and push it up a little further. I wanted to give it some motion, and energy, without losing the sense of scale.Β
