Hello, I would like to use this picture in a non-commercial print-on-demand book for playing Dark Sun with rules from Savage Worlds. Would that be possible and under which conditions? I would like to make a page crediting all artists which have produced art for Dark Sun. You would appear on this page too. Write to me please marc.stehle@gmx.net

I've been freaking searching everywhere for this for the last... *cough*several*cough* months. glad I finally found it! I even found a drawing of a 6-year old that was inspired by your painting, and I asked him if he knew the original one...
anywho, great work!

Maud'dib I presume???
The master of the worms, and ruler of Arrakis..... world known as Dune...
From the sandstorms he appears, and like a whirlwind, brings down the house of Harkonnen...
"He comes like a whirlwind, and vanishes without a trace..."
from an ancient childhood story on Arrakis...
Nice painting... I wish I had painted it!!

This caught my eye as I was browsing your gallery. Such a simplistic concept, yet the details you have implemented upon various features such as the environment and sky make this worthy of the title of 'masterpiece'.
The shadow/mirage could be facing us, or it could be a person walking away. This can be interpreted in so many ways, which is probably why I find this particularly appealing.

Reminds me quite a bit of DUNE. I like the sort of blurred/distorted style of the figure.
