I'd say ask on the forum where the instructions are. Myself, I installed it and am not too concerned about the uninstall.

I'd love to install this, but there seems to be a missing image on the forum thread you link to, and as such I have no idea where to install these files.
(I know there's an automated installer, but what if I decide I don't want the mod anymore? I wouldn't know which files to replace.)

Nice work. Do you think it's possible to make a matching login screen image? Or even the Finder's menubar with this style would be pretty neat.

You'd have to ask the guy that made the program. I just made the graphic to accompany the hack.
