There is the Xenosaga series that kind of them attempting to do another Xenogears

There is the  issue that Xenogears series belongs to SquareEnix while the creators have moved onto the Xenoblade series. Thus it unlike Xenogear will ever get a remark in the vain of FF7 or even just remastered version

 Xenogear mostly can not be remade as the people who made it no longer work at SquareEnix and I don’t think their is enough interest their to make it. That why I think Xenosaga and later Xenoblade came to be
