2nd artwork done for my Zelda Theophany project!
This artwork represents the scene when Link (cursed as a Deku Scrub and befriends the fairy Tatl) enters Termina for the first time through the clock tower in town. Coming up he is about to meet a very important character…
I completely remodelled the Clock tower from the actual game's design.
Next up: Terrible Fate!

Looking at this, and listening to Theophany's track.... it's as if you just flew out there into the ether, completely at ease, completely in control, and just captured the song and put it in a paint-bottle to fill your brush from.
Just the smallness, the lostness of poor tiny Deku Link down there, and only one irate little fairy for some cold company.... just the dankness and the coldness of the dark towering gears stretching high above are so overbearing. Ah, and the creeping silhouette up on the catwalk there.... looking so ghostly. Agh the colors are so wonderfully chill and stark. I can hear the inconsolable whisper of the wind in the cold blue lighting all through the center. Dripping grates, rusty gears, forgotten rocks and debris sprouting ill-begotten and unfortunate tussocks of sun-starved grass in this dismal place....
Agh, sorry.... Looking at this just....

Honestly very similar to my first impression of the clock tower interior when i played the game about 12 years ago for the first time. but man, your version looks way better. i particularily like the shadow of the mask salesman at the top. Very well done.
