yeah In the original series which i read as a kid,
toothless was a tiny dragon that couldnt really fly and did just about nothing

I did some various, dynamic poses of him on some scrap paper before I decided which one is the best to draw one the watercolour paper. I hate rubbing out the picture over and over again since it damages the fibers on the watercolour paper. D: And I actually wanted to fit both his wings in the picture, but I would have to make his body much smaller.

I totally disagree! I think the red is what makes it stand out! It gives it more life or else it would have been too dark. I really love your shading on this on too.

The bright colors are awesome in this! It's a really unique background that makes the whole scene seem all magical and whatnot. Fit for Toothless. Makes him look like he's on fire
