Oh my gosh, you are my most favorite person in the world now. 
I love the colors of the background. And it's okay that you did it last, because I noticed that some of the background colors slightly stippled the edged of Toothless. And I think that that adds a much much better effect to the picture. And bright colors are awesome! You can never get enough of those bright colors.
Have you uploaded any step-by-step pics of how you apply all of the materials that you use for the drawing? If not, I would LOVE to see progress shots with explanations.

Yeah I'm going to splash the background on first, then draw over it.
And in future, I will release some kind of tutorial or steps of how I make coloured pics like this.
