Wow, this is so pretty <33 It seriously reminds me so much of Lyanti's works. Same style, it looks almost identical 
I'd really love to draw him sometime <3 His colors and design are so pretty, i kinda want to make a character like him xD Or maybe i can revise my Forest okami that i abandoned OAo
Anyway, i really love the smooth colors and pose

It was fun designing and colouring him in, that's for sure.
And funny enough, even though me and dragonghostangel live under the same roof, we've never considered working together, or doing art trades with each other. 
We've actually been planning to do a collab for like a year now... It's still not happening.

The tail almost appears like rows of feathers on a bird, or layers of leaves. It seems to work really well with this character's design.

It's all about practice. 
We all start somewhere with everything. I just didn't stop drawing. I believe that anyone can draw as good. It just takes time.

beautiful choice of colors with the more aqua green on the head that deepens to a more grass green on the tail. simply beautiful. I love the way you colored the fur, I need to learn how to do that, it's such an awesome effect of texture. Wonderful rose too with the water drops on it.

I'm still getting used to colouring with Faber Castels. They were difficult at first, but you get used to it.

what was difficult and different about FCs? I really want to get some, prismacolors are nice to work with but the texture of FCs is so much smoother with a lighter hand. I'll never give up my prismas but I want to try something new. What is the difference between Polychromos and Classics? I see a lot of people using a combination of them. I can't get them locally so when I order them once I can afford them I want to get what would suit me.

The difference between Polychromos and Classics is that the pigment of classics is richer, but its more scrumbly that Polychromos. Plus, the quality of classics aren't that great (them being nice and cheap and all). Polychromos never smudge and the pigment is waxy, rich, and very high quality. The only thing I find difficult about Polys is that the base of the pigment is thicker than most pencils, so it's hard to draw sharp lines or very small details without sharpening in every once in a while. I use my classics as a substitute for drawing small lines or details since the base of the pigment is a lot thinner.
Since they are both Faber Castell, they work very well together. They both compensate when one can't do their job properly. Plus, their pigments are the same, but quality differs greatly. Polys last long than Classics overtime.

He's gorgeouse. i wish I was that skilled witht he colored pencil, or at drawing wolves. I'd like to say though that the ribbon comming closer towards us looks a bit off because their is no inking outline. The ribbon in the back looks fine with it since it's going further away but for going closer it makes it looks further than what i think you mean it to be. Just a suggestion.
