Spectacular. I just started my 3d modeling class, so I couldn't match this. The detail is very good, I can see why it took you so long. I like the nice realistic texture in the front of the ship and is that little green cylinder-shaped guy in the center a robot? It reminds me of that one thing from Star Wars, I can't remember its name... Anywho, nice work.

yup. the green thing is indeed a robot...or a droid as they are called in Star Wars (I could go into more detail but I will try not to nerd you out...). The one your thinking of is called R2-D2, he's blue. You just started 3D and you're in 7th quarter?? They took long enough getting you in there... I had Intro. to 3D on my second quarter. Once you get the hang of Maya though, I think you'll find that it is very fun and the hard work is usually very rewarding

Aye... 'Been getting all the general classes out of the way. I think all I have left for those now are the history classes... and that business class... I had 'R2' in my mind, but I didn't want to be wrong, heh. But yeah, I'm enjoying maya so far.
