Phendrana is my favourite world in Prime 1, besides the Chozo ruins. The music is so serene and peaceful (and gets techno-y near the edge) and everything is so pretty. I like what you did here. C:

wait............. is this prime 1? cause i see th statue in the back that looks like its from prime 3 when youre in bryyo..... the icy area.... i mean it could be phen... but that statue is conflicting the heck outta me....... i love this picture though.. its awesome

Phendrana is without a doubt one of the most beautiful environments you get to explore in the entire Prime series.

Painting like this is really just a matter of practice. It obviously help if you have a knack for color and light but that can all be learned too.

Yep. The only thing keeping the game in the spotlight at all is Supreme Commander...which is a fun game but can never compare to TA. I don't even like Star Craft as much as I enjoy TA. Playing TA with the UberHack mod and a pop cap of 5000 units is just too epic. The best part: it's an old game so absolutely NO lag! lol.

Yup, SC is just a load of crap compared to TA so you do indeed speak the truth my friend! ^^ And TA along with UTASP, TAUCP or AA enhances the already Awesome Epicness of it indeed! ^-^

Samus was originally a picture off of Google but I did do a lot of painting on top of that photo so...yes and no?

I really love it. I can almost picture the four busts coming out of the walls, between the pillars, just like in the Ice Temple in the Phendrana Drifts.

This pic has been posted for a REALLY long time though so I doubt that will happen. How strict are they with stuff like this? I mean, I didn't cut and paste from another piece of art...I used it as a template and painted over the top of it. Parts of the original image are still there but it isn't a straight up copy... Is that grounds for removal?

I'm very amazed by the detail in this one. Your painting job is so smooth and your choice of colors clash very well. Only thing I think that would help this image is if you added some more contrast to the guy in the front; he sort of melts in with the floor and the pillars. The entire image is quite good though. I wish I had your motivation right now.
