Description i believe in God
because He
believes in me
He knows i can
when i
think i cant

each time i sin
He stands nearby
to whisper gently
in my ear
"You're better
than this."

each time i stray
He stands nearby
patiently waiting
to see me return
all the more
in love with Him

each time i cry
He stands nearby
to hold my
trembling hand
and encourage me
to stand

i believe
in God
because He
believes in me
more than i
believe in myself

I like the last two stanzas more than the rest of the poem, but it's really good overall! (better than "Oranges", lol)

Niiice poem, but I especially liked the last stanza, where it you need someone to hold your hand and support you through life's long road. "Believeing" and faith has alot of strength, I think

thanks so much!! The only way i survive is by God holding my hand and it surprises me that he cares enough about little old me to even bother
