Who is Alloy?: WIP Background Story.

Not to long after Rider's oldest child -Aurora- drowned she and her husband -Nether Storm- began to fight. They weren't happy and blamed each other for what happened.
Unable to make amends one day Nether Storm left without a word. Rider was left distraught and was never able to move past this.
Weeks turned into months and she found herself increasing sick. Worried she went to the doctors and was stunned to find she was once again pregnant. But she was in no fit state to raise a child. Not after what happened.
She was told it was best to give the foal up for adoption but she could never bring herself to do that. It seemed to cruel. But Rider knew that she would be unable to raise the foal and went to her sister desperate for help.
Chroma Spectra -her older sister- was still upset with Rider. It was infact Chroma who found Aurora washed up on the river bank while Rider had been busy fighting with Nether Storm.

However seeing how distraught Rider was she reluctantly agreed to look after the foal.

The foal -Alloy- grew up with Chroma but almost always knew he wasn't hers. It didn't help that Chroma wasn't the warm and fuzzy type either.
It wasn't until almost 6-7 years later when he met his parents for the first time. AFTER they had patched up their relationship and had Metalica.

Strangely enough he never felt any resentment toward his parents or what happened. Not too long after meeting them he began to live with them and was quickly accepted back into the family.

Chroma felt no loss. Frankly she was glad he was gone.
