First this is only a scrap of what Kitistraza might have looked like had I made her a queen changeling instead of a drone.
I believe that a queen changeling is corrupt by nature and the drones mindlessly serve their queen. In this picture Kitistraza coming off age is eligible to become a queen of her own hive. During this time she is consumed by the need to protect and feed her hive do to the mindset all queens have. To assume the role she abandons all her connections to the outside world so she never regrets draining a pony of their love and leaving them a dried husk. Her final attachment is to destroy her necklace (a gift from a close friend she wears in all forms) and drain her lifelong friend of their love to create her hives first husk.
The funny part is that this started out as a joke but this turned out really pretty. It still is a joke for I prefer Kitistraza as a normal half-changeling but I might however every once and awhile do a sketch of "Queen" Kitistraza.

Aww right in the feels! I know, alternative world with "Queen Kit" but still made me sad reading that ;_; I still am happy you have been drawing that since... however many rps that was.. but things do end (assuming this is the alternative timeline!)
Art wise, great as always! Yes, the pink is super pink, but it does suit her well.
Sadly, despite my efforts, Blitzy tends to read anything with Kit in the title... and is upset. I am sure he'll be fine.

Oh no, I fully understand.. as Blitzen is the same way, though, toying around with a "Stygian Blitzen" personality that comes out of his already present rage mode: Obsessed with doing good to an absolute extreme, but it does make him turn into a robot/Dredd like character... but then again, if not him, maybe one of his siblings? I am still debating, and not nearly prepared to decide yet. Blitzy is a simple pony, he knows good and does it for duty, but a loss of friendship (like he experienced before and will soon face once I draw the scene) is something that unlocks reactions within.
OH, of course Kit is yours 
Just had to comment because that line (concerning the necklace) caught my attention.. and made me feel. (what is wrong with me? I don't know..) so no worries. I enjoy the creative process of character development, and will be working on my own OCs as well.

I copied and pasted the old description into this and forgot to edit it. The old version of this picture explains what I meant about the necklaces in the actual picture.
As for my OC to explain things easier...This is what would have happened if she stayed with a hive. The Queen Kitistraza in the journal I uploaded is the "good" version.

Ahh! Alright! Yeah, that is of course fine! A good version is kind of what I am going for for the contest Changelings.. I sort of assume a few little things.. but well, while I am talking to you, I'll ask:
You say the Changeling cannot be a part of another hive.. well, with the one I have so far, I have this pony wanted to be a Changeling, because of circumstances... is that ok? Or is there another method (like, were they always wit Kit when she made her hive?) Just need that clarified.. I can work any scenario into a backstory easy!

Alot of people are making ponies who became changelings. You can do that too but its getting on my nerves because I designed my pony to be a special snowflake (Sort of) and everyone is using that backstory for their oc.
The only other things accepted are hive born (A changeling queen cant produce a whole hive by herself. They are refered to hive born) and Defected Changelings (Changelings that defied their own hives to followed Kitistraza)
