So Solanar is the fan shipping foal I had Yazmen10 make for me.
He is the son of Celestia and Discord.
He is currently engaged to Princess Eclipse the daughter of Luna and Sombra.
Wait what?!
Okay long story short I had Yaz make me a foal to ship with my previous one I got from her aka Eclipse.
I already had long made it official and planned out details when I realized DERP they're cousins.
HOWEVER I widely ignore the canon verse in RP: In other words in the RP world my OCs exist in Eclipse and Solanar are NOT related to any canon characters.
Also doing some minor research in old timey lands royals could only marry other royals. There not being to many princes or princesses around Solanar and Eclipse wouldnt have much in the ways of choice.
BUT FOR MY SANITY I WILL IGNORE THE PARENT NONSENSE!
Another theory for this ship instead of ignoring parents entirely or such that Eclipse is actually the daughter of Nightmare Moon and Sombra. Although technically Luna and Nightmare Moon are the same person in the comics they have shown that Nightmare Moon is a separate entity ENTIRELY from Luna. Going off this I could build a headcanon on how somehow Nightmare Moon is Eclipses mother and after becoming Luna again she -although no longer that mare- took her in and raised her all the same.
