Anyone else besides me cant wait to see the return of Nightmare Moon?

Yes. I am well aware that Nightmare Moon seen in the Season 4 teaser is FROM A FLASHBACK!
But for anyone out there who will fight me on this...Yes it IS the return of Nightmare Moon because even if its a flashback she is returning as a villain in season 4.

Sorry to ruin you're fun, but it was a FLASHBACK besides, I have quite some proof.
1. Why would NM say to Twi; Did you really expect to just sit and stare as they BATHED IN YOU'RE PRECIOUS LIGHT?!
2. Hasbro stated that there would be a flashback ep. of Luna, I'm sure dis is it!
3. In the animatic, look at window closley, recognize it? Its the castle of the two sisters, before it got destroyed. I know it didn't fix itself!
Now, maybe you're asking: Then whys Twi looking scared? Maybe she does'nt know shes seeing a flashback.

By "Return of Nightmare Moon" I meant in "Seeing her again" I did not actually mean shes coming back in current time. I am more than aware this is nothing more than a flashback.

Well, unless that was officially stated, we don't know. But I don't think it's necessarily a "flashback". I think Celestia is testing Twilight by doing some sort of thing that puts Twilight in that memory to see if Twilight can deal with the situation as well as or better than Celestia did. As in, see if Twilight can find a way to stop her without banishing her to then moon. Seeing as how Twilight is a princess and needs to know how to deal with these situations without resorting to banishment and such.

From what was given it is shown (and later on said) that this is a flashback on what happened with the Original Nightmare Moon.

If it's a flashback, then Celestia should be there. Seeing as how Luna was obviously talking to somepony and she did say "your precious light". So she's obviously talking to Celestia who is nowhere to be seen. A flashback is a recounting of events that took place in the past. For it be a true flashback, it would need to show the events exactly as it happened. Thus, Celestia would need to be there as Luna is obviously talking to her. Since Celestia is not there, it is not happening exactly as it happened, thus it would be better described as Twilight observing the events in Celestia's place and from Celestia's POV.
Sorry for giving a hugs long explanation, I just don't see it as a "flashback".

No it is a flashback it has been confirmed by Hasbro.
Also she wouldnt say that to Twilight AT ALL so therefore it couldnt be current day Equestria. Also if you (like me) follow the MLP comic series the nightmare forces that turned Luna into Nightmare Moon have been banished therefore its impossible for it to happen again.
It is still a flashback no matter whose point of view its from because its from the past not present.

I never said it was present day. I said specifically that Twilight is viewing the events that happened from Celestia's POV. Possibly as a test for Twilight to see if she could handle the situation better than Celestia did and not banish her to the moon. Of course, Twilight needs to learn this lesson as a princess since this could easily happen to one of her friends and actually has happened, assuming the comic series is canon, which I don't think it is because the events were never mentioned in the series. It's kind of like the Archie Sonic comics. They're their own separate canon, unless I hear otherwise. But I never said it was present day Equestria, in fact, I was hoping it wasn't present day Equestria. But it can't technically be called a "flashback" since it's not a complete recounting of events exactly as they happened. I think it's Twilight viewing the events that happened 1000 years ago in Celestia's point of view. Notice how I never stated it was present day Equestria in that previous sentence? But my theory is supported by the fact that Celestia isn't there when obviously she should be. So obviously, the only explanation is that Twilight is viewing the event in Celestia's point of view. Basically, taking Celestia's place in it. It's not time travel or anything like that. Just Twilight in the place of Celestia, viewing the events that transpired 1000 years ago. Possibly, as I said, to test Twilight.

So, Nightmare Moon Returns, hm? I hate spoilers, but this is a most interesting development. My biggest hope is to see the villains get more development; Sombra's character in Season 3 was simply abhorrent.

I read the MLP comic series and it shows that it wasnt JUST Luna's jealousy that made her Nightmare Moon but some evil force that lives on the moon itself.
