Cold...
It was so cold...
Why was it so cold here? Was it just her?
Freezing.
Indescribably freezing cold.
Why couldn't she get warm?
What had happened...

"Iza you sure?" Niko looked around in boredom angrily pushing an unruly lock of deep olive green hair behind his ear.

The younger filly nodded eagerly "Come oooon! Don't be so boring Niko! This will be fun!"

"Err...right? And whose this guy again?" Niko said motioning toward the colt Iza dragged with her.

The colt stood a big taller than Niko with an unruly mane of faded brown hair a dull reddish coat. He was built tough but seemed a but thin in his stomach and legs.

"The girl he was with called him Z. That's all I know. He doesn't talk either." She looked to excited to seem very concerned.

Niko rolled his eyes "What girl?"

Z seemed to almost stiffen at the mention of the girl. Strange...

Iza skipped along as she answered "Her name was Ginger but her brother called her Baby. She said one of the characters -Benjamin I think- invited her and her friends to go backstage and meet them all!" she make a small squeaking sound "She was really nice and said for us to go with her!"

Niko sighed and followed "Alright. But don't get out of my sight okay? I don't want to lose you."

"You wooont I promise!" She hugged him. "You wont ever lose me."

He laughed "You better hold that promise!"

Z who had been walking slightly ahead pointed toward a plain door and opened it for them motioning with his head that they should enter. Iza gave a short squee and ran inside. Niko himself wasn't so sure and waited a minute before Z shrugged and walked inside himself. Unwilling to leave Iza alone he rushed in before the door shut itself.

The room was dark and unlike what he expected to see.

The empty animatronic suits hung limply on the walls and the room itself smelled like rotten food.

"This is stra--"

Something crashed to the floor.

Z was fast to whirl toward the sound and he physically blocked both Niko and Iza who was more curious than wary.

What appeared to be the unicorn animatronic Benjamin -but a strange and dull silvery color spotted with a dark brown- stood infront of the door.

Niko pushed down Z's wing that had sprung up to block out sight of him and Iza and tried to get a better look at the new comer.

"Hey what's going on he---oh Celestia..."

Before he could stop her Iza jumped past Z and ran up to the animatronic she opened her mouth to say something but it was lost as she screamed. The hoof came down in a long slash leaving her face bloody.

"IZA!" Niko went to rush forward but was pushed back again as Z charged infront of Iza and make a strange hissing growling sound that seemed to even set the strange man off.

The hiss turned into a whimper as a wet thud sounded and the body of a pink filly with long blue hair fell to the ground. Z was hardly able to get over his shock as the knife came down and lodged itself in his eye.

Niko would never be able to forget that guttural sound he made or the wet sliding sound the blade made as the man pulled it out of his skull.

The rest was a blur.

For a moment both Iza and Niko stood frozen before all hell was let loose.

Niko remembered struggling for the knife and lashing out at his attacker.

Flashes of purple. A deep disgusting purple...

Pain...

So much pain...

He was crying...

No it wasn't him.

Iza?

He failed...

Baby groaned as she felt herself being lifted up.

The hooves weren't kind and she felt as if she were being torn apart.

Her eyes fluttered. She saw things in flashes.

They were not pretty.

Two of the suits were covered in red stuff and were almost dripping in it.

Faint struggling could be hurt along with muffled sobs but they were growing quiet...

She felt her heart surge forth in horrific pain as she saw Z with multiple cuts in his chest throat and face. What happened? How did he get hurt so badly? Did someone do that to him?

A rush of agony ripped through her legs and she felt as if she were being put through a meat grinder.

Her eyes opened wide to see a purple man...he was handsome yet somehow hideous to her.

She knew without knowing...he did this...this was his fault...

Thoughts...slipping...

Pain...

" 's...cold..."

The voice scared her.
Scared her so much...

"It's almost over sweetie..."

Baby saw the outline of...a helmet? a mask? before everything went dark....

Ellana opened her eyes the next day.

For the first time in almost 5 years.

"It'll never be over...."
