well okay, uhh, I don't have a premium account so I'll just give it in here
so the colors of the picture emphasize the mood perfectly: dark dreary and rainy
but I think because of the fact you used the muted desaturated colors, its a little bit difficult to see the cast shadow of the umbrella onto arthur and alfred. The solution, contrast! or more easily, selecting the portion of where the shadows would hit on the two and lowering the brightness/luminosity filter in SAI/Photoshop, I wouldn't worry too much about the contrast of your shading/highlighting in that area so much because typically in darker areas there's less emphasis of the two elements... its basically why whenever in the dark you only see the outline of objects rather than the precise coloring/shading etc.

used overlay on that part with black to create a half assed shadow but instead made it more contrasty whoops.

and overlay tends to make darks brighter rather than things darker
remember that one tutorial where you can make black and white drawings into colored drawings because of the overlay layer? yeah that's what I mean
