Here are some of the graphics that I have designed for AveDesk and AveScripter.Info:
AveDesk is a desktop enhancer created by Andreas Verhoeven. AveDesk allows pretty icons and so-called widgets (mini-applications) to be added to Windows desktop.

Not to be rude but these are rediculously similar to Dashboard Widgets. The calculator, translator, weather and sticky notes are exactly the same! DesktopX and Knofrab have been around before Apple's Dashboard but this app appears to only imitate dashboard as precisely as possible rather than be something more original like konfrabulator. In which case it probably serves its purpose of catering for people who want to hack and modify windows to look like a mac

i use Konfabulator for my widgets. It supports windows and osx and has over a thousand widgets to choose from. Best thing is its open source and free. Go here: [link] for the software and widget gallery. Nice skins though. If you make em for Konfabulator ill use em.

Why OSX??? This is not a OSX thing.
OSX was not the first system to have widgets like we know right now. DesktopX for Windows has been out for years. AveDesk is an alternative to all desktop enhancers out there.

"This is not a OSX thing." ...although by looking at the image above it looks as though it's trying to imitate an OSX thing, which is why I said why not just buy the real thing, because not only will people be getting the originals they'll also be getting a great OS

Just thought I would add to my previous post that these graphics are really good, just like anything else you've created, but my point here is that they are a little too similar to the Dashboard widgets and IMO I feel that it would be better if they were more unique... some different designs and purposes rather than just duplicates of ones that already exist.
