Here's the single display vesion of Strange World VII that people requested on Neowin.net. Get the Dual Display here - [link]Lets start the year with a wallpaper release.
Last time I said that Strange World VI was the last one and then I made this one. This time Im not going to say this is the last one of the series. 
This wallpaper is a lot different from what I had in mind when I started working with it but Im happy with the final version.

KoL I have to ask; why 1280 by 1024, rather than 1280 by 960? 960 is 3/4 of 1280, whereas 1024 is 4/5 of 1280. I don't know anyone whose physical screen width-to-height ratio is 4:5.
In order to not lose anything from your beautiful work on my 1280*960 screen, I have to open the 1600*1200 (4:3) version in PS and scale it down to 1280*960.
Folks running 1280*1024 on a 4:3 physical screen space would see a 500-by-500-picel square as a rectangle. I just don't see the point in that, or therefore in making a wallpaper that size.

1600x1200 scale down without any problem to 1280x960. A lot of people use 1280x1024, including myself, and 1600x1200 dont scale down well with the other two resolutions that I included.
I have a Sony SDM-HS75 and IMO the best resolution on those monitors is 1280x1024

This is my favourite Strange World by far. It came out great. These are probably my favourite series of wallpapers. They are very well done.
