Scene from BIS, Chapter 10:

Insecure and shy, Nero has been feeling like the odd one out due to his "different" looks and heterochromia which had turned him into a gloomy little pup.
When Juneau came over for puppysitting, she couldn't bear to see him like that, all miserable and dejected, wondering what could possibly be troubling her precious great nephew who shouldn't be already confronted with such feelings at his early stage of life.

Fortunately for the black-furred pup, Juneau has a heart of gold so she took it upon herself to explore the reasons behind his insecurities, so both of them had an enlightening conversation, changing his self-perception for the better.

Thanks to my good friend DanTheCrazy for allowing me to portray one of the scenes of his fantastic Balto fanfiction "BIS"!
