OH GOD THIS WAS A PAIN
well, it was just a pain to render in fullsize
why, you ask?
because apparently, blender doesnt like doing subsurface scattering at high resolutions or something, and the cheese would come out as a PITCH BLACK EVIL BLOB THINGY THING!
but anyways
i rendered it in 3 different layers and that fixed it
layer 1 is Background, 2 is Liquid cheese blastoff and 3 is the Cheese Bot
Made entirely in Blender, layers put together with theBlender node editor
PS. Subsurface scattering+fluid simulation=win

I'm not quite sure why, but this is bad ass. Not quite sure why the cheese explosion is lit like it is on the ground, but who cares. Finally someone came up with an ingenious use for fluid sims that are too viscous.

at first the liquid cheese was quite a bit less bright, but i wanted it to look kinda like a thruster flaming thing, so i rendered it with SSS alone, being lit from behind for it to sorta glow
as for the liquid, blender has a pretty good liquid system
