If you ever make a functioning model, can I have a copy of the plans? I have a RepRap 3d printer and I'd like to make one!

if only there was a way to send a file that would automatically self destruct after 1 print... lol... I'm gonna try and make one of these myself now that I have access to a 3D printer! Wish me luck. Any pointers? I'm gonna use Autodesk Inventor.

Hi there,
Where are you printing your models? is it a printer you have or are you going through a company. I have a mask from skyrim that i wanted to print too. I would let you have access to that one too if we could figure out a deal. I have been using Shapeways but they get expensive. Get back to me because I might be able to do more business with you in the future.
Thanks

So you are modeling these in a 3d program then sending the plans off to get made into an actual physical piece then casting?
Where are you having them printed as I'm in the process of doing a weapons project in the very near future and this would help me out a ton in the build process.
Any info would be great and thanks in advance and also cant wait to see a finished piece once you get it all painted and put together.

Absolutely gorgeous. Sharp quality. And you say you're going to do a cast for it? Is it going to be an actual functioning device with the spring-load and everything or will it just be a base model?

Thanks for the kind words, Its going to be a base model.
I want to be able to produce these fast, great quality and cheap.
So when I cast these it will be a one part mold. I think I will also offer three versions, super cheap ( no paint just pulled from the mold and mailed to customer.)
Normal ( cleaned and painted to look as real as I can make it.) and then the super best which will be cast using metal power which just looks awesome as hell.

Nothing scream "Cool kid in school" quite like a hidden blade. lol.
But seriously, that is pretty awesome. If I ever decide to do an Assassin Cosplay I might just have to invest in a pair of these. (Hell, get a pair of these just to have for self-defense purposes around my neighborhood. I'm not sure if you confirmed they were functional or not.)
