Description One of the more oddball possibilities. Fleeta comes from Dell's short lived Dracula series from the 60's. Trying to cash in on the Batman craze from the the TV show, Dell decided to turn Dracula into a superhero. The modern descendant of Dracula, in an attempt to make amends for his ancestor's misdeeds, he used science to give himself vampire like powers and a goofy costume to fight crime. Later on his girlfriend the socialite B.B. Bebe used the same formula to give herself powers.

Are the Dell heroes based on horror icons public domain, though?  Just wondering, because I haven't seen any evidence posited that they are.  Maybe I missed it.

Well, they are more orphaned works than anything else. After Dell went defunct, most of it's IP ended up sold off, but the monster heroes had been forgotten in the shuffle.

Ah.  That makes sense.  Orphan works are interesting to ponder the legality of.

There doesn't seem to be much worry in this case. A couple of indie publishers have used the Dell monsters without ramifications, though there is still some risk if someone with a copyright claim decided to act.

Love her look!
When first reading the description I thought this was from a tv series inspired by Adam West’s series. She would fit in!
